Position Overview:
Cascade High School is seeking a passionate and dynamic teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. This position will primarily serve 9th and 10th grade students. The specific content area may be flexible depending on the applicant’s licensure and experience, but a strong ability to build relationships, manage a classroom effectively, and engage students is essential.

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering engaging, standards-based instruction to 9th and 10th grade students

• Creating a classroom culture of respect, growth, and high expectations

• Using data to drive instruction and adjust teaching strategies

• Collaborating with colleagues to support student learning and school initiatives

• Maintaining clear communication with students, parents, and staff

• Participating in professional development and contributing to school improvement efforts

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching license (or the ability to obtain one by the start date)

• Secondary certification in English

• Experience working with high school students preferred

• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills

• A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
