Job Qualifications: Hold valid Indiana license; preferably Special Education--Intensive Interventions; however, strong candidates who hold a teacher's license in Mild Interventions will also be considered.  An expanded Criminal Background Check is also required. 

Job description:

Self-contained/Life Skills classroom at Cascade Middle School(grades 6th-8th)

Requirements:

Teacher candidate should possess outstanding leadership, organizational, and relationship skills.

All licenses considered, prefer an individual who:

(1) holds appropriate license to work with children with intense interventions;

(2) has knowledge or demonstrated experience with creating and implementing a functional curriculum intervention and supports;

(3) has experience supervising paraprofessionals;

(4) can be a team player with support personnel;

(4) experience working with general education teachers in modifying curriculum, educational goals, and objective;

(5) has strong communication and interpersonal skills; and

(6) experience working with IIEP is preferred.
