The Mill Creek Community School Corporation is seeking a full-time Secondary Instrumental Music Director for Cascade High School and Cascade Middle School beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. 

 

Minimum requirements for all candidates include possessing a clear extended criminal history background check and a valid Indiana teaching license in vocal and general music.

 

Applicants should consider themselves to be an enthusiastic and nurturing professional with a positive attitude and above average technology skills.  The preferred candidate will be able to clearly articulate their vision for a successful instrumental music program.  Most importantly, the preferred individual will value teamwork and the importance of building relationships across all school corporation stakeholders.  

 

Current Primary Teaching Responsibilities Include...

• (CHS)  Intermediate Band (audition required ). One section of student learning community-CCR 
• (CMS) Four Sections of Middle School Band (students in Grades 6-8).
• Daily Teaching Summary = 2 Teaching Section at CHS and 4 Teaching Sections at CMS (Full-Time Contract)

Current Extra-Curricular Stipends Include...

• CMS/CHS Band ($4620)
• These collective stipends include the minimum annual expectations of... 
• ECA
• Athletics
• CMS and CHS participation in the ISSMA organizational and solo/ensemble competitions
• CMS and CHS holiday and spring community concerts
• performance at the CHS annual commencement exercises  
• some fundraising shall be necessary
